NUHS Vertical Challenge 2010

REGISTRATION:

1. All entries should be made on official registration forms or photocopies of the original form. Incomplete forms will not be entertained.

2. Each participant is to be represented by an individual registration form.

3. Closing date for registration is 21th October 2010, 12 pm. All entries should be submitted to:

4. Successful registrants can check our website www.nuhs-wellness.blogspot.com for confirmation of participation.

5. Late applications will not be entertained.

5. Participants should receive a confirmation email once application has been approved. Information regarding the time of registration would be posted online one week before the date of the event.

CATEGORIES

The Vertical Challenge is a Team Event.

1. Participants must form a team of 5 members consisting of 2 males, 2 females and 1 veteran. The finishing time of a team will consist of the total timing of all the team members. Any member of a team who fails to complete the race will result in the disqualification of the team. All 5 members will be competing at the event. 

2. No changing of team members is allowed prior to the event and on event day itself.

Prizes will also be awarded for the:

1. Fastest Man
2. Fastest Woman
3. Fastest Veteran (Man)
4. Fastest Veteran (Woman)


GENERAL NOTES

1. The Fastest Man and Woman awards are applicable for all participants below 45 years old.

2. The Veterans' awards are applicable to all participants above the age of 45 years.

3. The Vertical Challenge 2010 is open to staff of all ages.

4. A photocopy of the individual participant’s Staff Pass will have to be attached and submitted together with the application form.


REPORTING:

1. Participants are required to report punctually at 9.00 am, 29 October 2010, with their Staff Pass to collect their number tags.

2. Teams may send a representative to report on behalf of their team.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to amend rules or regulations.

2. Failure to observe the rules and regulations may render the participant or team disqualified.

3. The Organizing Committee of NUHS, appointed staff and officials shall not under any circumstances be required to accept liability resulting from injury, whether fatal or otherwise, of any participant, or from damage or loss of personal property while participating in the event.

4. The officials’ decisions are final.

5. Registration would be based on a first come first serve basis and will close once the limit is reached.

6. Latecomers will NOT be entertained.

7. Participants are to check for any changes to the reporting time on the website 3 days before the event.
